JAKARTA, INDONESIA — Indonesia Blockchain Week (IDBW), Southeast Asia’s leading institutional Web3 conference, will return for its sixth edition on August 12 to 13, 2026, at the Jakarta International Convention Center.
Under the theme “Turning Infrastructure into Impact,” IDBW 2026 will focus on blockchain’s transition from experimentation toward real-world adoption across finance, digital infrastructure, governance, and enterprise systems.
Since launching in 2019, IDBW has reached more than 50,000 participants across its ecosystem. The 2026 edition is expected to host over 12,500 attendees, alongside 100+ global speakers, 300+ exhibitors and partners, and representation from more than 25 countries.
The event brings together policymakers, regulators, financial institutions, developers, founders, and enterprises within Southeast Asia’s largest digital economy. IDBW continues to position itself as a platform where institutional adoption, regulation, and blockchain innovation converge.
“The industry is entering a phase where blockchain adoption is measured by implementation and long-term utility,” said Adytia Raflein, Co-Founder and Chairman of Indonesia Blockchain Week. “IDBW 2026 is designed to connect institutions, regulators, and builders driving that transition across the region.”
The conference agenda will include discussions on tokenization, digital identity, stablecoin infrastructure, institutional blockchain adoption, artificial intelligence integration, and emerging financial technologies.
IDBW 2026 will also feature business matchmaking sessions, innovation showcases, hackathons, and trading competitions aimed at supporting collaboration between enterprises, developers, and investors.
Previous editions have featured global industry leaders, including Changpeng Zhao, Richard Teng, and Justin Sun, alongside Indonesian policymakers and regulators such as Teuku Riefky Harsya, Minister of Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, and Hasan Fawzy from the Financial Services Authority of Indonesia.
The event has received support from global and regional companies, including Binance, AWS, Tether, OKX, Saison Capital, GRVT, and Tokocrypto. Their participation reflects continued institutional interest in Southeast Asia’s blockchain ecosystem.
Beyond the main conference, IDBW 2026 will host a full week of ecosystem activities across Jakarta, including university roadshows, networking programs, and community-led side events focused on regional collaboration and blockchain education.
